The Contemporary Music Organisations Funding program is specifically available for key organisations that align with the MDO's strategic objectives.
Each year the MDO supports organisations to provide accessible industry development pathways for South Australian professional artists and music businesses.
Key organisations funded through this program include:
- Music SA, South Australia’s contemporary music industry association;
- Nexus Arts the only contemporary music industry development organisation devoted to culturally and linguistically diverse communities in South Australia; and
- Northern Sound System a contemporary music development facility with a focus on developing youth and early career artists based in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs.
