MDO Project Support Grants

APPLICATIONS FOR MUSIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICE PROJECT SUPPORT GRANTS ARE NOW CLOSED.

The Music Development Office (MDO) is acutely aware of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the South Australian music sector, and has been working hard to reshape and simplify the way we offer support so that it complements other funding available nationally and throughout the State.

The MDO has repurposed our current Contemporary Music Grant Program to ensure the South Australian music industry can continue to develop, create and connect in this time.

The new Music Development Office Project Support Grants will support artists and music businesses through financial contributions allowing them to continue to develop new content and new ways of working, planning and connecting under the current COVID-19 conditions.

Recognising the industry’s urgent need for support, the MDO reduced the usual grant round timing to ensure a quick turnaround of funds for all successful applicants. The round is now closed, and all applicants have been notified directly by email. When all funding agreements are completed, the MDO website will post a list of successful applicants.

For any further enquiries please contact MDO Program Manager Elizabeth Reid via email: mdo@sa.gov.au or phone (08) 7320 3307.
